There’s a large stack of big and small tech solutions behind the scene and we use the latest technologies to create frontrunning insurance experiences for our customers. Today we are around 1,000 colleagues within If’s tech community and we are growing as never before.

If’s tech community plays a central role in simplifying the customer journey. One of our initiatives to digitalize If’s core insurance business is our new platform Waypoint – developed by If in one of the largest .Net programs in the Nordics. We are working in DevOps and cloud-oriented teams, that are supported by agile and operational processes and use a range of interesting technologies like Azure, React, and more. We also have our own tech lab where we are exploring AI, Bots, Microservices, and Machine Learning, to create innovative tech solutions

#IfTech21 is the global Tech sharing session that runs continuously, tri-weekly, throughout the year with tech topics for all Tech people at If – by developers, for developers. We aim to share knowledge cross country and cross unit - to help us all develop as much as possible - with the knowledge that exists within the company of today also creating a network of where to turn to solve everyday issues that might be coming your way. With topics ranging from, Xamarin forms, Azure event grid, Blazor, .NET memory dumps and much more.

Our own start-up: If Tech Lab

If Tech Lab focuses on building prototypes and minimum viable products to explore new technology or business opportunities for If. We consist of a diverse group of senior developers, with a wide range of backgrounds bringing technical knowledge and passion into new technical territories.
