After your business travel

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I file a business travel claim?

If you have already paid the costs for your treatment or have other costs due to travel claim, you can fill in a claim form and find more information about filing the claim and what documents you may need to send us.

If you are seeking compensation for other persons covered by the insurance, you need their full name, date of birth and contact information.
Please keep all medical documentation like medical reports, prescriptions and receipts, as we may ask them from you later on.

If handles your claim without any delay but at least within 30 days. We will send you the decision by email or via your If My Pages or Employee Pages. File your claim within one year from the date of the expense.

Fill in a claim form on our website, here.

What to do if I still need treatment when I come back to my home country?

Your travel insurance covers your travel illness or travel accident treatment after you come back home for a certain time period, usually 90 days. We recommend you to first contact your occupational health care provider for further treatment. You can use our network of partner clinics, such as Terveystalo, Mehiläinen and Aava if you need medical treatment.
